Oakridge Cemetery


Bristol Utilities Water and Wastewater .

Wastewater treatment plant is located at 1300 West Vistula Street Bristol, IN.

Department supervisor Tim McCandless and Technicians Kaitlyn Baer, Derrick DeGraw, and James Molnar are preparing for the 2024/2025 complete renovation of the plant to provide for future expansion of expected growth in residential, business, and industry in the Bristol area.

Best State Water 2012 Bristol received recognition as the best water in Indiana and competed in a national competition where they came in 5th in the Nation.

Street, Parks, and Cemetery Maintenance Department

Office located at 802 Bloomingdale Street, Bristol, IN.

Department employees: Eric Funkhouser, Wendell Bowen, and John Risa wear a lot of different hats as they provide services for the Town. Keeping Bristol’s infrastructure in repair requires constant maintenance and is a full-time activity year-round. They also assist with Town decor, like flowers and wreaths.

Once the leaves are on the ground, the team begins the annual leaf pickup, which continues until the week after Thanksgiving. After that snowplowing begins for the winter season. In addition to their many other duties, this dedicatd crew also maintains the parks and Oakridge Cemetery.

Oakridge Cemetery Bristol - Clean-up days The annual clean-up days begin on April 1st, in Oakridge Cemetery. Lot owners are requested to remove all decorations they wish to save before April 1st. During this time, we ask you to refrain from placing any memorabilia items onsite until May 1st. Decorations that are not removed from the cemetery will be removed and disposed of.
